Hi i was looking into a video card with these specs i can gget a pretty good deal for it:

Memory: 256 MB DDR SDRAM
Controller Speed: 325MHz
On Board Memory Speed: 300MHz
RAMDAC: Dual 400MHz
These are the only specs it gives
Now i dont claim to know anything at all about computers, but this card seems different from other 6800's ive seen and doesnt the 6600gt which is worse have like 500mhz?. Is there anything wrong with it or should i go ahead and get it?
 
the reason that card there is faster than 6600's is cause it has more pixel pipelines and IIRC 1 or 2 more vertex pipelines. also has 256 megabit bus width for the mem
 
The 6800s a good card. If it's a good buy depends entirely on how much you're getting charged for it.
 
outpost.com did have the bfg 6800oc for 250$... not sure if they still have it or not.
