Im looking for a new driver besides my 56.72 driver. My games are playing crappy, and overall pissed. Is there a "BETA" one out that i can download and install? If so, who is using it, and are you happy with it?

I used the 61.32's for a bit, everything i played was good EXCEPT for Far Cry. It really crapped it up......

thanks for the quick reply., where did you find them?

You could try the Omega drivers for nVidia. I agree though, the 56.72 series drivers are shit. I get horrible performance in Morrowind.

I tend to use whatever the newest is at 3dchipset.com
Currently running 61.40s

yea 56.72's do suck...
even bring down the 3dmark 2k1 score about 2000 points on all the 4200 systems ive put them on including mine.
but i dont feel like getting the betas tho, ill just wait till the officials come out.

Are you telling me you judge a driver on a unoptimized benchmark?
Why would nVidia want to waste its time worrying about how a truly unimportant and mostly useless benchmark runs on their cards compared with making 'real' games run better?

If you want to test a driver, you will need to judge by more than a mostly CPU dependant benchmark.
