Are there any multiple display port cards on the market that are suitable for gaming?
I have 3 22inch monitors on my desk, and my PC is in a different room. I have 3 25 foot Display port cables, and a couple usb cables running through the wall. I have used AMD since my 5870, and Im running a 7970 currently.
I dont run Eyefinity, I game on one monitor, web browse on another, and have a VM running on the third. I would like to try an nvidia setup, without running DVI cables.
 
Just a word of warning, check out the compatibility of the monitors you will be using with Nvidia first. I've had nothing but DP problems and have finally switched back to DVI on the past two sets monitors I've owned.

I'm now running 2x Samsung S27A950D's on my gaming rig on 680's and have the following issues when DP is enabled:

No BIOS / post screens, monitors enable at windows startup
Frequent loss of signal requiring rebooting of monitors
Nvidia control panel "forgets" which monitors are the primary / secondary displays and changes them around at will when the computer is powered off and the monitors sleep then everything is turned back on again.

Dual link DVI works flawlessly, so I've gone back to that until I upgrade monitors or until proper drivers come out. For all those problems, the only advantage DP brought to the table was "being cool" with a slightly thinner PLUG on the end of the cable and click-in connector and being the hip new format. I bought into it long ago with the dream of daisy chaining my monitors together and having a sleeker looking desk, but what a let down that dream was.
 
I run 3 Dell U2211H monitors on a 7970, used to be a 5870 and don't have any post/bios issues, or loss of signal, and this is using 25 foot DisplayPort cables. Losing the primary/secondary is b y design, not a bug, all though Id say Bad Design. Its the hotplug nature of DP and even some DVI if that pin is used. I manually turn off my monitors, and don't let them sleep automatically.

Maybe Im just better off cabling for DVI, thanks for the input.
