nVidia Demos on ATI Hardware?

I just set up an nVidia system for a friend when I noticed and installed the Dusk demo off his driver cd. Looks nice, and I wondered how it would look on my ATI setup in my sig.

Googled it and only found 2003 discussion regarding getting the Dawn demo working on ATI hardware.

Anyone have any more recent success?
 
I dont think any of them work on ati hardware.


But what is extremely funny is NVIDIAS own tec-demos work BETTER ON ATI CARDS LOL!!!!

Those were dark days................
 
The Dawn demo will work on ATi hardware, you just need to find the 3D Wrapper for it, also the x800 Demo with the dudes running across the cavern, that has a wrapper to work on 9800 cards... but it'll run like ass.
 
Some of NV demos are done in OpenGL that use custom NV OpenGL calls, thus you would need a wrapper to convert them to DX or use standard/ATI OpenGL calls and even then those may not exist. And there is nothing wrong with that, its their card, their software and the results look good, so more power to 'em!
