I asked on the Nvidia forums but I couldn't get a answer there!

The settings just brightness and contrast revert back to default after a reboot or shutdown.

Anybody have a clue? I tried wiping the drivers and reinstalling them

My card is GTX 550ti
 
My card is kinda new (not very powerfull) but there are only 3 sets of drivers put out in the last couple of months. I tried two of the sets but haven't tried the one in the middle which is beta and I doubt it will work

This is a common complaint in the Nvidia forums that remains unanswered. I tried using Control Panel as Admin and it didn't work either.

I can just click the button in CP and it goes back to my settings but it's semi tedius if your turn off your PC alot it's my gaming PC and I won't be using it everyday anyway.

I guess Nvidia is hiring a 3-D software programmer in CC+ in INDIA that is =)
