nvidia control panel error

i get this "the parameter is incorrect" when i load up the nvidia control panel

ive searched the internet.. all i found was going into regedit and setting permissions to full control... but that didnt work

i just fresh installed windows a week and a half ago and dont wanna reinstall again
 
I have been watching a lot of Star Trek Voyager lately.
The only Trek series I like.

So I suggest enabling voice commands and conversing with your computer in order to diagnose the malfunction.
