I muted once the foo.. Knuklehead said that electric cars provide a better driving experience. All i can figure is he must've been driving a Nissan versa(Or equivalent) the last 5+ years.
 
Jeff Fisher, the Ti guy, should just tell people it stands for titanium and is pronounced like tie so we don't have to hear Gamer Jesus whine about it again for a month. I remember when we all called id software "eye dee" software and now we know better.

Well, I have always said "tie" and "id" because I know the former stands for Titanium and the latter is an actual word. It was funny seeing the Youtube chat blow up every time he said "tie," though.

Saying tee eye is correct as well. Technically, when referring to the periodic table, you would call Ti titanium, not Tie.


CO2 isn't on the periodic table but you say "see oh 2" instead of "co 2" or you just say carbon dioxide.
 
Yeah, I used to think it was eye-dee in the 90's and it blew my mind when I found out it was actually id ala Sigmund Freud (it makes a lot more sense and one of the few game company names that is not just random).

Some other points:

A lot of the same enterprise hyping about Omniverse and AI development.
RTX 3090 Ti is real, but they just said that details about the card will be coming later.
New laptop GPUs including 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti. Some talk about how they're using AI to extract optimal performance out of laptops.

I honestly tapped out when the lispy guy came on to gush about their AI development around the halfway point.

Most of their TI stuff is just better silicon from advancements on their various process nodes, their Omniverse AI stuff is actually pretty dope, Palo Alto is a partner for them with it and some of the demos I have seen of it in action would make my life a little easier or at least less stressful as it is one less thing I have to worry about or at least a different less stressful thing I have to worry about. I am looking forward to seeing what it looks like in 3 years when my Firewall system is up for renewal.
