i need something like the ati tool but for my 6800gt. I know there are probably threads about them, but i did a quick search and did not see anything. I just want to slowly be able to oc the card and bench it. what can i use?

Just use coolbits and the auto-detect overclocking button. The reason for ATITool is because ATI doesn't include an auto-detect overclocking button.

You can always bump up the core and memory manually to squeeze out a little more performance. I do that for the memory, but the maximum core speed auto-detected is usually right when I run it.

Some people also use rthdribl to test for artifacts after overclocking.
