nVidia and vista help.

I have a desktop and a laptop, the desktop ATI X1900XT runs vista, the laptop nVidia 7900gs (I think) runs WinXP.

I want the laptop to run Vista, I know nVidia drivers were bad for vista but that was almost 6-8 months ago, whats the story now, will I notice a frame rate drop and if so how bad?

It was the nvidia SLI drivers that were bad in the beginning. The latest drivers are working really good for me, atm.
