This might be the specs for the New 9800 GTX Card: got this from another site (Sorry if it was posted already)

65nm process technology at TSMC.
- Over one billion transistors.
- Second Generation Unified Shader Architecture.
- Double precsion support (FP64).
- GPGPU native.
- Over one TeraFLOPS of shader processing power.
- MADD+ADD configuration for the shader untis (2+1 FLOPS=3 FLOPS per ALU)
- Fully Scalar design.
- 512-bit memory interface.
- 1024MB GDDR4 graphics memory.
- DirectX 10.1 support.
- OpenGL 3.0 Support.

Pros.

65nm process will allow for better yields and better power consumption. power consumption will be lower than that of a GeForce 8800 GTX.

GeForce 9800 GTX will be over two times faster than a GeForce 8800 Ultra in real world games and applcations.

Release date : November 2007. There will be TWO products at launch: The flagship GeForce 9800 GTX and the second fastest GeForce 9800 GTS.

price for the GeForce 9800 GTX will be 549-649 USD.

dear lord im sorry you posted that people will only yell at you. i saw the post as well, but hes just basing it off of the steps in how the cards have become from what i could tell. im sorry for the following you will recieve
 
I know this was a mistake post, but is eDRAM in serious R&D? I remember ATI's R600 was rumored to have this on board for "free AA" but that never happened. Then it sort of disappeared and never resurfaced in any rumors until this false one.
 
Was I the only one who noticed an Audio chip on the list?

The kitchen sink was too big for the 2-slot solution they were looking for.

Possibly for HDMI/HDCP compatibility? Don't the ATI cards have some kind of audio passthrough for that?

that would be one weak ass next generation card. that wouldnt even be worth upgrading to for those wanting to play Crysis above on Very High settings at 1600 or above. thats only a 50% increase in SP so that if you were getting 20 fps in Crysis you will now get 30. that would be a huge waste of money. Im hoping for a minimum of 256 SP.

well nobody wants to read outdated rumors and didnt the Nov release date give you a hint?
 
Cant wait to see what the 9800 GTX Ultras dish out. I will definitely be grabbing those if they have impressive DX 9 improvements.
 
even more ridiculous speculation on the 9800. GDDR5? that shit is not even ready for mass production.

Just disregard the sig it tells lies.

I have a 9800 too. It's awesome. I guarantee these specs are the truth.

Eight parallel rendering pipelines
Four parallel geometry engines
256-bit DDR memory interface
AGP 8X support
128MB of RAM

It's even passively cooled.

This card is still seeing use today as driving Aero in my parents rig.
 
If the VR-Zone specs are right, and I SLI those...my Opteron will die (in addition to being the biggest bottleneck ever).
