nvidia 9800gt > ati 5770?

About to upgrade my current pc to an AMD x4 955/965 BE. I have a 9800GT in my current, I'm not 100% sure if i need to upgrade also, i assumed it was my cpu holding me back. I figured pairing an AMD + ATI card would be good if i upgraded.

Only cpu uses are warcraft which i dont think is too graphics intensive, mostly cpu, but that doesnt mean an upgrade wouldnt help :D

is it worth it? is there a better bang for my buck. cheaper is better but i dont want to skimp and have to upgrade in another 3 months or something :D Also i've seen some of these motherboards that have some hybrid sli function w/ 4xxx series gpu's. do i have to have another 4xxx series to pair with it for that to work or does it have to be a 5? would it even be worth it to use that feature or am i better off with the 5770 i was looking at?
 
if all your playing is wow upgrade your cpu a video card upgrade wont give you increased fps in wow, and yes a 5770 is faster than a 9800gt
 
it'll definitely be cooler than the 9800gt, dont think it'd be worth using the hybrid crossfire especially for WoW which really only uses one gpu.
 
I think I may see what the 9800GT does for me with the new motherboard/cpu, and maybe upgrade it later then if i think its an issue :) thanks
 
replace your cpu first and see if you are content with the Warcraft performance. What cpu are you using now?

You can always get the 5770 later if you still want it and it just be getting cheaper as time passes.
