Howdy everyone, I am currently troubleshooting a Dell XPS 1710. I believe it may have a damaged video card. Without the drivers, I see screen artifacts and when I load the driver I get no video, at which point I load into safe mode and remove the driver. The laptop was run for some time with no fans working and I think the graphics card is burnt up. I have 2 questions:
1) Is there a way I can prove/disprove the GPU is burnt out?
2) I am not sure about laptop GPU slots, what is a good replacement card I can get? I could get another 7900, but if I can upgrade, that would be good too.
Thanks in advance
