In my second computer I have a 64meg Nvidia PCI card. There is a problem however. When it gets to the log in screen of XP the monitor goes blank, i thought, the rez is too high. So I boot into windows safemode and change the rez to 8x6 and it still does the same thing. The thing is I can see post and the blue bars go accross the bottom...so I'm confused....any help would be great. Thanks.

The rest of the specs are are:
P4 2.4 stock
Nvidia 64meg PCI vid card
512 PC3200 Kingston ram
hdd
cdrw

Thanks.

Assuming that the resolution is the problem, you need to hit F8 and choose VGA Mode. Changes to the resolution are not saved in Safe Mode for some reason.
