NVIDIA 258.96 WHQL Candidate Drivers

There are new NVIDIA 258.96 WHQL candidate drivers out today for those of you that need them. The new drivers are available for Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP operating systems and add support for the new GeForce GTX 460. The new 258.96 drivers also include support for 3D Vision Surround. Grab them if you need them.
 
Good times, just put them on my notebook. Not burning yet, guess that is a good thing.
 
Have installed them on my sig, done some quick tests no real gaming yet. So far so good.
 
I'll download and run some benchmarks.

I call original Crysis, RE5, and Devil May Cry 4. 1080P

1920X1080 Ambient Occlusion On, AF 16X HQ, AA TR 8X SS, AA MSAA C16xQ Settings: All Super High.

Same settings as DMC4 except all settings High ("High" is as high as you can go.)

Meh passed on Crysis. Benchmark util isn't recording avg FPS for some reason.
 
Does the "goto sleep in the middle of a game and the kernal crashes usually taking out Windows 7" bug been fixed? :(
 
causes static interferance in my p5b's headphone output, which is annouying. plus something in my 8800gtx is making even louder wierd nouses. went back tp previous 256's - problem solved. did see a few more fps's though. gotta love nvidia's drivers
