How does this nv silencer cool my memory, Iy says no memory cooler. If i buy the NV silncer 5 do i have to ramsink or something? thanks
 
Yeah, it cools your memory, but the HSF that came with my BFG cooled the memory also.....
 
Yeah it cools memory if u willing to spend a few hours to sand this thing in order for it to fit in correctly.

I did a lap dance on mine and had to sand one mem contact quite a bit.
When installing, do a dry fit and hold the card up to a light to see any gaps.
I used as5 on the gpu and the white stuff on the mem.
Works great !

Yes, but the heatsink included with the BFG does not exhaust hot air out the back of the case. Most 68xx stock heatsink/fans just recirculate hot air in the case; a number of reviews have already shown that the NV Silencer 5 results in temperature differences of 10-20C below the stock cooler when the GPU is under load, plus they lower ambient case temperatures a bit by removing hot air, and they're around 15-20dB quieter than a stock 6800 fan as well.

I already have one on order, more for the noise reduction than anything else, but the better cooling is a nice bonus.
