Who here jumps into the control panel as soon as you install new drivers to change the texture filtering option to 'high quality' from its default of 'quality'? I've been doing this for years now but I'm not sure why as I usually can't tell the difference. I also set Negative LOD bias to 'clamp'. I usually own high end gpu's that can max the games of their generations so I don't see a performance hit using these options.
Thoughts?

I do the same. Right after I get her overclocked where I want her.

Yup. Then right after I select it the window starts fighting me and scrolls up as if to deter me from clamping that up. I still don't understand why there's a scroll bar there. 1/2 the window is dressing...it needs to be 1/2 inch of border, all options available, no scroll bar.

Oh well, at least it's not like ATI's 2 options per window, scroll, scroll, scroll...scroll...

I also go in an tweak the settings because the default stuff leaves alot to be desired, plus you can tweak it to where you want it and still get the performance you like as well.
