Well I was working out of town for last 5 months and haven't been following things that closely. I installed the new 381.65 driver on my main boxen as it mentions support for the new Creator's Update for Win 10. I'm not sure if it's just the last few WU's but my PPD seem lower on my GTX970 and GTX750 now. Is there still an issue with newer NV drivers and/or the new core 21 and that hotfix? Not sure what the Creator's support is or if it's even necessary but I'm thinking of reverting back to 373.06

The guys over at EVGA are reporting that 381 is upto 8% slower than 373 for folding. Their advice is don't upgrade unless you need to.

Thanx for the heads up Nathan. Not sure what the Creators support is in the driver but I bet its not crucial. Busy rebuilding my Server on a shiny new 1p Xeon rig and repurposing the old hardware into a HTPC boxen. I'll revert back to 373 shortly.

New drivers rarely make FAH faster. It's typically no change or borking it. 346.96 in Linux as was the best for awhile for Maxwell as newer drivers were worse until some of the Pascal drivers matched production.

Update: I reverted to 373.06 and my PPD increased by over 8% so far but different WU's make it hard to say for sure. Not sure what the 'Creators support' is in the new driver but I've seen no issues yet. Probably just a check mark on the feature list on NV's part ? Not running any 1050's anywhere yet so this is where I'll stay for the time being.

My PPD and 3dmark score went down with the new creators update all by around 8%. Not sure what they did but everything is a bit slower.
