Okay, so there's quite a story to follow my problem, but my problem first.
When I tried to uninstall or when I try to install my video card drivers (catalyst 5.10) I get an error as the extracter simply extracts the files telling me "Error opening file for writing" which kind of comes and goes. The one I'm more worried about is "Internal Failure Error: 0x80040707" I get that one twice if the extracter gets all the way through. Then when in the setup screen I get a error telling me "Unable to load ATICIM.dll" and the setup eventually just quits on me. This started happening after...
I had Comcast come by and install high speed internet finally. In the process of installing it, I had the 200lb tech literally do pushups off of my f*cking tower and toss equipment as to check the cable line for activity and the modem on top of the computer as well. Which after he got off my computer, it was locked up. I didn't think twice of it, computers sometimes just lock up.... Never has mine does this before, but I wasn't trying to be an ass about it, so I simply rebooted. While he was installing the modem it locked up a second time. Then after he left it locked up during a RAM check. Sometimes, when I turned it on, simply nothing would start up. No nothing, just lights and maybe a fan or two, I don't remember, but you didn't hear the hard drive start up. Excuse me, but god d4mnit. I had to get that one out, because that's the start of it. The rest of what's going on has nothing to do with this thread, so I'll stop here... Just one more thing, Comcast customer service is a f*cking joke...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just hope it's not a physical problem and I'm a dumbass. Thanks ahead of time.
