Number of installs for a retail copy of XP ???

Am I correct in saying that I can install my copy of XP (WXPFPP_EN) on as many computers as I want to, so long as they are not concurrent with one another. For example, can I install it on my intel iMac now, and then when I get a MacBook Pro in six months, then install it on that after removing it from the iMac.

The Product Activation key used to reset every 120 days. If you space your reinstalls several months apart, you should be able to use the same key as you move from system to system.

You don't have to do that. Just call Microsoft to get reactivated and tell them why you are reinstalling. You can get reactivated every month so long as you give them a legit reason. Not that it's any of their business, IMO.
