The download link on theie website has been died due to the nuforce company has been bought by Optoma

I would contact their support and likely they would send you the file.
 
What countries do they support? Got any cousins or family in other countries?

this seems to actually be a legit driver file, though it is older than the current one. i downloaded and extracted it manually and all looks well.
Hopefully that fixes your problem but exactly this sort of user behavior is the reason why so many Windows computers are infected. Installing a driver from an unknown source is about as risky as it gets. Only positive side is that IIRC Windows won't let you use unsigned drivers in a 64-bit version so if it's malicious, it would need a false signing at minimum. That's not so hard to do though.

In order to get an Extended Validation code certificate, you need to have a physical address and a registered company that's open for 5 years. Oh, and 200 bucks.
