I got home from dinner today and my computer was randomly shut off. I tried to start it up and it says NTLDR Missing, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart. When I restart the same message appears. My friend told me to put in my Windows XP CD and try to do a repair, but my boot order is not right so I had to change it in BIOS. Whenever I tried to get into BIOS it says Keyboard Failure, and then the same message that I got above. I tried this with 2 keyboards, 1 was PS2 and 1 was USB but neither of them work. I was wondering if you guys knew how to fix these problems? Thnx
 
Sure the PS2 keyboard works? Maybe try another of those. Or reset the CMOS chip?
 
do u have a floppy disk in the drive if u do take it out
 
Best thing to do is...

Go find another machine, create a bootable floppy disk, then copy NTLDR from the hard drive on that machine (make sure it's a windows XP machine). That should get you booting again.

I'm not sure about your keyboard issue, to be honest I don't quite understand the problem. Maybe try shorting the clar CMOS jumper to reset the CMOS to defaults but that's the only thing i can think of.
 
from working the dell machines at my work if anyone user leaves a floppy disk in the drive they get that error during boot up
 
Might have a been a power surge killed your computer, and the keyboard. That's just me guessing, but it could have happened.
