I recently installed a new raptor and decided to load windows xp pro fresh. My original boot drive I disconnected and I had another storage drive still connected.

I couldn't access some folders on the storage drive that I had set deny premission on so I rebooted with the original drive and changed them to allow. After rebooting off the raptor I can now access the folders, but I've noticed I do not have the security tab to set permisions on any drive or folder i have.

What am I overlooking so that I can set permissions again. If I boot off my original drive I have full security access.

thanks

what version of windows are you running?
(also specify if the two drives are running different versions of windows)

simple file sharing is turned on...open a folder, goto tools, then folder options, then the view tab, scroll to the bottom and uncheck it...apply and you should be good to go

Thanks! it was the stupid simple files sharing.
Thanks! I figured it was something simple.
