Nox "on the house"

Nox!? Holy crap I loved that game. Does getting it from Origin require signing up and/or downloading a bunch of extra crap?

I hope this "on the house" is to stir up interest because there's a sequel coming.
 
they have given away a lot of games on origin. i've gotten like a dozen or so games for free. Origin is about like steam.
