The thing is, cas doesn't really matter a whole lot. Trrd and Trp have a much larger play in ram bandwidth and latency. Having values of 0's for these would be great on an A64 meethinks.

The thing that interests me the most about that is the ram. I've never seen 0's for both Trp and Trrd. I THINK I've seeon a 0 for Trrd. But wow, 0's for both?
 
That ram timing sure is wierd looking.. Very nice oc though... However, 28 seconds for 1mb pi? Kinda high don't you think? :confused:

I don't really care for SuperPI that much. Pentium 4's should be getting incredibly short times on them but they don't since the FPU's arent fully utilized.
 
The only reason I still might Go Intel this round (even tho their dual core CPUs are not all that compared to the competetion)

Is because of the strong SIMD capabilities of the FPU. WinXP64 and Longhorn dont use x87 anymore, and only use SIMD instructions.

Grrr why cant we have the best of both worlds!!!!
 
So neither Intel or AMD are offering dual CPU systems for their dual core processors yet?

AMD has been for a long time. The opteron x65-x75. Intel feels its more fulfilling to not compete with AMD's products at this time. I'd imagine a quad 875 system would definately beat this OC'd Pentium D, but, for price... the Intel wins by a few thousand dollars.
 
Thanks I will go to the AMD section to ask about it. Before I go, does anyone one else have any suggestions for my graphics box? Are there any better solutions for rendering speed using programs like Maya, 3D studio max, Adobe products, etc.

Nah, they would just rather seclude AMD from the market entirely for the time being with illegal business practices.
