Did everyone get sent a forum email about verifying account associated emails are correct? Hope so because I got one and the email on my account is definitely correct...So I'm a little confused....
 
I just saw this too...and am wondering. I didn't see any email confirmation email sent out (I mean one with a link to verify...I got the PM notification email fine), but the email on my account is a correct and valid one so far as I know...unless *@gmail.com emails are no bueno.
 
Hmm mine is a gmail.com also...I definitely get emails from the forum though as I just got the reply notification to the thread here.
 
So, no action required on our part then? Your just checking for bounce backs when you send the e-mail? I was confused because I couldn't reply to the conversation when I logged into the forum. I did get the e-mail OK, so I presume nothing to worry about...
 
I was able to verify that my email works by enabling two-factor auth via email.

I had the same experience. My gmail was listed already, but I didn't get the email (wasn't in gmail spam either). I checked my "Contact info" on hardforum and just to make sure, I changed the gmail address to include a "." which wasn't there before.

I figured this would trigger the hardforum to re-send the email verification and it worked. Gmail allows and treats all emails the same whether or not they have periods in them. So I was able to get my gmail on hardforum verified by changing it to:

exam.ple.email@gmail.com

Then type your password and hit save.
Then you'll get a verification email in your "exampleemail@gmail.com"

I did as well, but my email address is 100% correct.I also got a PM directly to me, so I'm wondering if its a system issue. I believe I had an old email address on here that I changed a while back, so I'm wondering if it's picking that up.
 
I think I'm blind... I can't find where to verify my email address on the forums.
 
Mine appears up to date but I didn't get any e-mail. Should I be concerned/do I need to do anything?

Quite frankly, most of you were mailed because you have email alerts on for messages. I just sent a PM here.
 
I figured this was a mass message but glad that this thread verified it. My email was up to date but I was afraid that perhaps for some reason it wasn't registering and I was being singled out. I mean, the message felt so personal and all...

What a relief!:D
