Noticeable upgrade from Dell U2311H?

Looking to upgrade to a 27" monitor, am looking at:

Dell U2713
ViewSonic VP2770

any others I should consider?
would you recommend an IPS panel?
Use is for data input, surfing, and some gaming...

If you like the lack of colour shift, can put up with the black levels and IPS glow of your current screen, then get an IPS again.

The Viewsonic PLS 2560x1440 is about the best screen at 27" with that resolution, short of the ones with glass fronts.

I would think you would be happy upgrading to either though, both you mention have less agressive anti-glare coating than the one you have now!

Go with Dell's U2713H. You will be happy. I have two of them. They are great.
