Theyre selling slightly o/c'd video cards now right off the line, and come with the standard lifetime warranty.

I dont know about the NVIDIA choices, but its a cool idea. I like the company too. I have a second owner vid-card, and they sent me an original disc from the retail box free of charge.:D
 
I saw the 5500OC and the 5900XTOC in the CompUSSR adds this morning, [H] review of the 5900XTOC here
 
Just read the review. I think they are going in the right direction, but theres another issue. No flaming( I know some people hate these retailers, but be realistic, lots of people go there), but the 5900xt oc is $230 at best buy. I think I would rather spend the money on a ATI 9600pro all-in-wonder( same price at comp usa, with almost the exact same performance), or a 9800pro (comp usa) for $20 more.
 
Factory oc'd cards are nothing new but having a lifetime waranty on such is great idea. Oh, btw speaking of things that aren't new...."CompUSSR", Worst Buy and Fry'd Electronics have been around for years.;)
 
Dont get me wrong, I still like them, but dont think I'd buy a 5500.....I'd have to go 5900.
 
a 5500 is a 5200 with much higher clocks, so it almost approches the 5600 in performance, but costs less.
