I am trying to find a notebook for someone who will be doing small presentations for two or three people at a time. They don't plan on using a projector for now so they need a screen that can be easily viewed by multiple people not all looking at it from directly in front.

Any ideas?

Would it be worth it to find one with "brightview?" I believe that is supposed to increase viewing angle as well as "looking nice."

LCD's overall have a poor viewing angle. It's going to depend on what LCD panel is used.

I noticed nobody is replying so head on over to www.notebookforums.com and give them a try.

You need a UXGA screen..... probably a WUXGA. Hard to find, but the best option I know of for angled viewing.

Screen resolution itself has nothing to do with viewing angles, it's specific to the LCD panel used.

15" Thinkpads with 'Flexview' (IPS screens) are suppose to have very good viewing angles.
