Hello,
I am looking to buy a notebook that has a good display but it also has to be quite powerfull.
Currenty, i'm looking at a few models:
HP Envy 17-2110en (LS594EA)
ASUS G74SX (G74SX-91265V)

do you have any advice on which one I should pick (or any other recommendation)?

Thinkpad W520 w/ 1080p display
Sagers w/ 1080p display
HP 8560w w/ Dreamcolor option (IPS)
Dell Precision M4600 w/ IPS option
Thinkpad X220 w/ Premium screen option (IPS)

Traditionally, the Sony Z series have some of the best screens in a 13" package. Up to 1080p resolution.

What do you need the screen for? For art and design, the IPS displays that Pylon listed are the best.

When you say "best screen", what do you mean? Resolution, color fidelity, response time, etc. There are always tradeoffs involved.

W520 with 1080p +1. I have it, it's amazing. The screen looks nicer than my U2711.. And that wasn't cheap
