Notebook Reccomendations, $1100 price range

What Notebook would you recommend that has future gaming capabilities and has a 15"-16" screen at around $1100. I'm trying to find a value in that price range. Right now I have narrowed it down to the ASUS N50 Series or the HP HDX 16t Premium Series

Which would you guys go with? And is there a better value with a different manufacturer?

That Asus N50 laptop has pretty good specs. The only turnoff is the 5400rpm drive. But, it's pretty good overall. This will perform better than that HP laptop with the 9600M GT graphics. The 9650m GT graphics on the Asus is faster with higher Core speed and Shader speed with a newer 55nm technology. Plus, 2 year parts/labor and screen display has a higher res at 1440 x 900 vs 1366 x 768 on the HP.

HP fails with their immense amount of bloatware; returned my 14 incher for solely that reason. At least they offer free shipping back.
