just installed my new 1.7ghz Pentium M and pin modded it to 533fsb @ 2.23GHz

There is one C0 stepping you can buy, SL8BA, in a 1.7ghz.

Bought it used off ebay for $26.00 and it easily overclocks, doesnt even break a sweat at this speed. Why pay $200+ for a true 2.26 when you can spend less than $30.00 on one. :D
 
Yeah, notebook processors typically overclock very nicely. Make sure you keep an eye on the temps though, since they also get very hot.

no biggy, i figure with no voltage increase the cpu should be fine. put a nice even layer of ASII on it and it should be fine.
 
what mobo? I've got a dead laptop with a 1.5ghz pentium M, don't know what to do with the cpu/ram.
