Hi,
There are lots of websites such as this that examine desktop and desktop related parts. I was wondering if there is a resource for laptops.

I am currently in the market for a Dell Inspiron E1405 for school and I am wondering whether I should just get a Core Duo T2300e now or wait for Core 2 Duo to lower in prices and maybe catch a copy of Vista.

From the bit of research that I did do, Core 2 Duo is not much faster than Core Duo, but it has some features like VT and 64-bit that the Core Duo T2300e does not have. I am wondering if these will make a difference in the future in regard to Vista and if I should take heed to these differences.

Also, recently released is the N routers with more speed and range in regard to wireless networks. Although I feel a need for a notebook, I also feel that we are on the verge of great technological leaps and maybe I should wait.

Also, are there any great laptop resources similar to [H]ard, Tom's Hardware, AnandTech, etc?

Thank you,
Bruce
