I Have an emachines 6811 and a wireless connection I want to know if i can use the notebook to connect xbox live wirelessly the the rj45 plug. To do this will i have to change any settings on the computer or xbox or will a crossover cable just work fine.
 
You probably can. Connect the two with a crossover cable. Make the laptop run Windows Internet Connection sharing. The source of your connection if your wireless and the output is the Ethernet.
