note taking software?

I use my macbook to take notes in classes, its easier to organize them and easier than carrying around 5 notebooks and constantly bringing the wrong one to class. Anyway, I've been using Pages from iWork 06 to take notes but was wondering if there were any other solutions that you guys use to take notes and such.

i use word and switch it to notebook veiw it has like lines on the page and it kinda organizes you notes for you by entering bullets and what not so yeh

I used to use OmniOutliner
the basic version came with my MBP, don't know if they still include it with Leopard out now.

I use the basic Textedit to take notes. I don't like any fancy features other than just being able to type.

thats what I used to do, but I found omnioutliner one day, and I loved the way it let me move around the document to organize it as I typed.

I just stumbled upon the MS Office note thing before I read this post, it seems to work quite well.
