Guys,
I've currently got a Samsung 213T that has been an extremely good monitor and I've never had any issues with ghosting or input lag when gaming and it's served every other need I've had (surfing, movies, web production, editing pictures, and etc.) without a hitch.
This is currently the best and most up to date forum anywhere on "Displays" and I've literally read almost every thread over the last month or so looking to help me decide on a new monitor that offers more real estate.
I want the best bang for the buck, but I'm prepared to invest whatever it takes to get the best LCD monitor possible to meet my needs. First, I don't do any component gaming so 1:1 mapping through component inputs is not an issue. I've narrowed it down to the following monitors:
BenQ FP241W, NEC LCD2490, NEC LCD2690, Gateway FPD2485W and possibly a Dell 2407 WFP. I really like the idea of using a S-IPS variant panel but am not sure if I want ot wait for the NEC for 2-3 more months.
I'm approaching information overload and could use a few objective opinions...TIA!
