Not your average SATA power adapter

I recently purchased an Enermax noise taker power supply, instead of having all 4 pin molex power connectors, enermax decided to make one strand all SATA. Convenient if I had any SATA HDD but I don't (using SCSI). I'm in need of adding more drives and I find myself out of 4pin molex. So I'm wondering does anyone know if a 15PIN SATA to 4PIN molex adapter exists? I really don't want to hack off both SATA connects off my brand new PS and wire them to 4pins but if it comes down to it, I will. Thanks in advance

how long did you research the PSU for?

you never said anything about a video card, only other drives.

I did much research before purchasing this PS because of the two dedicated 12V rail. I figured at the time (1 1/2 months ago) that there are sufficient number of 4pin molex on this PS. Never did I imagine NV40 would require 2. My fault for not mentioning a video card in my original post and I'm really not serious about getting such a converter for NV40, heck I don't even know how x800 will play out, i'm just keeping my options open, sorry for the confusion. Regardless, I would still like to know if there are such a converter (15pin to 4pin standar molex and not the usual 4 pin to 15pin).

According to my MaxPC and the official pictures in it, the card only has 1 molex power connector.

You're saying the retail 6800Ultra has only 1 molex?

...right below that picture, is this text:

Note that both Molex plugs are coming off of one wire from the PSU. We did not experience any problems with this configuration and never once had the low power dialog box pop up.

I'll bet that if the vid card is the only load on that power lead, you'll be OK.....

I never said I saw one in person and it has one. I said what MaxPC showed. If you don't agree....take it up with them. Read my first post....I said "according to MaxPC.....".

Maybe there are two versions of the 6800...like a reg and an ultra...who knows?
