Alright I just got a new Case a few weeks ago, and it was working ok, but after a couple hours it just shuts off, like the power went out..i have to flip the switch on the PSU then flip it back on and it'll turn on...So I've noticed it only does it when the side panel is on..so i'm thinking its probably a heat issue, just i'm not sure with what..I'm thinking the h/d only cause i put a bigger-different PSU in it..its got a 500w right now.

CPU Specs:
MSI K7N2 Delta
AMD 2500+ Barton @1833 w/92mm TT Cpu fan
1 gig Dual Channel PC3200
ATI 9800 Pro 128MB
2 - 160 Maxtor * MB Cache
1 - CD/RW
1 - DVD
1 - 120 mm Fan. (EX)
1 - 80 mm Fan. (IN) 2 - 80 mm in front of H/d not hooked up

Make sure you have the latest BIOS for that MSI board. I know mine was giving me readings that were 10 C hotter then they really were with the old BIOS I had.

Is that full load or idle.
Whats your air temps.
Whats the difference between the side on and the side off.
Whats the shut down temp set for in the bios.
More info would help.

59C - CPU/ 41C SYS

That the temperature range I'm running 24/7 on a lot of my rigs.
But they are running 100% load Folding and the air temps can hit 30-35C due to the heat output of my boxen.
So 25-30C above air temps full load is not bad.

If the air temps are 20C then that a different matter.
If it an idle temp then its another matter.
If the temps drop 10C when you take you case side off then you need better air flow in the case.

Luck......... :D

Thats at Idle i'd suppose, haven't checked with the side panel on, due to it shutting down, i don't have the shutdown temp set in bios and i'm pretty sure its the latest bios

Could it have anything to do with the video card getting hot ? cause i know that card is a power slut lol
