Well at work they have put in a new type of internet watching.
They say that this is only to limit the bandwidth that is being used.
They want to stop all the streaming videos and radio channels and the
people dl music and movies of the web..
This is all they are after.
then they state that anyone breaking the new rules will be terminated.
Right after this they have a paragraph stating that any superior will
be logged and this info will be sent to the highest authority for review.

ok 2 sets of rules whats new. IF you are management you can do what you want
everyone else is terminated.

So my question is this. I mainly just get on a few sites and read the new things
that are happening in the computer world..HardOCP, Ananad, Toms, a few others.

in their statements at the end of the message they state that occasional use of
internet for news weather sports scores and such are not the same as people overusing
bandwith and this is not what they are after. SURE I believe that ROFL

=====================
SO can I cache the pages at home say at 6 am...and put them on a click drive and
read them during lunch without going on the net ?
Is there a program to do this? Can the form groups be cached as well?

thanks for any and all help
they are playing games and I don't want to get caught up in whatever
they have in mind.

I think to me the scariest thing is to say one thing, then have 2 sets of rules
and finally to say its ok to go online.

IF there is somewhere else to ask this please let me know

thanks big time for any and all help

The right place to go for an answer is your personnel or HR department. It's their policy, and they should be happy to explain what it means and address your concerns.

tried that....you should not be on the internet. That was their response.

that is why I am asking can you cache your favorite web pages and articles
and read them offline
