I bought a pair of Plantronics Gamecom 367
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826265064
I got these b/c they look comfy and will work with me and my glasses.(also my old mic sucked on Team Fortress 2). Some what happy and glad they are comfy.
But after getting these i think the problem is my onboard sound since it didnt fix the mic 100%.I will get distortions with the mic and some make people deaf with the loud static.
I wonder if i should return these headsets and get a new one with usb connection or adapter like these

Will it fix my mic problem entirely? any other suggestions? should i buy a separate usb sound card(dont want to put any more parts in this crappy 6 year old dell)? i dont want to spend more then $60 on a new head set xD
