Ok i just got my sn45g in and transfered everything and put my pci to sata controller in and hooked everything up and all seemed to go well. I go into bios and it doesent recognize the hdd so i save and exit and hit the f1 to continue booting, and this black screen comes up with some message saying something about sata and primary master being maxtor then the numbers after maxtor. So i was like, well, seems to recognize it, so i restarted went back to bios and still didnt recognize hdd. So i went ahead anyway and tried to install xp and it says the thing about windows cannot be installed because of failure to find a hard drive. Sooo, what can i do to make the bios recognize it?

its on a PCI card?
you need to load the driver
you will be prompted to press F6 to install additional SCSI controllers

yup, you need to have the drivers on a floppy disk too, IIRC.
