not receiving confirmations when changing email

when i changed my email address in november, i didnt receive the confirmation email. i waited at least 2 weeks and nothing came. i changed my email back to my previous one(work address) and received the confirmation immediately. i re-made the change and waited several days...still no confirmation email. *i changed it back to my work address so i could post this thread*

i am using an email address from my own domain. it is hosted by surpasshosting. i dont have problems with any other forum/webite registration except here.

any help would be appreciated
