Not reading drives....

So I just got a new case for my computer and installed all my hardware.

Now when it goes to boot it gets to the boot screen and says something like "scanning drives" and then it just stays there forever. Its as if it is not reading my harddrives. I unplugged them and it said "no drives found" and then plugged them back in and it wont find them.

Whatsthe first step I should take to figure out what is giong on?
 
Check to see if you've got any conflicts between jumper settings w/ drives on the same cable.

Master/Master or Slave/Slave, ect.

Did you buy the case w/ a power supply? If so, what brand is the psu?

Try getting into the bios before the HDD autodetection occurs, then try to identify them individually

If all else fails, try putting them in one at a time, and see what works and what doesn't.
