And to add one more thing before you go...To answer your questions.
Yes it is running that fast, Q6600 are the shit.
You are on a good overclocking site.
Go to intel processors forum....and have fun.
no, you are not running at 3.6. its just a misread by the program (thinking your cpu is 9x)..you are really running at 8x400=3.2....run cpuz ...you will see
Yeah CoreTemp is kinda messed up in reading the CPU frequency there, same for me. I'm running 400 x 9 relatively stable @ 1.32v right now. But yeah, head to the intel processors for more specific Q's about your chip if need be
Wait you're running a 3.2 Q6600 with a 1.2 vcore? You've overclocked and undervolted?
What? I hate my PC! How did you get such a high overclock for such low voltage? Mind sharing your other voltages and motherboard? You're talking about a Q6600 right...?
They have G0 chips. Yours is probably a B3. That, and it's OCing -- 3/4ths is luck.

Yeup, i don't mind. My rig i am referring to is in my sig, its the one titled "main rig". I'm running a q6600 G0 at 3.2Ghz (400 x 8) with a Tuniq Tower 120 (LED), ABIT IP35 Pro, 2x1GB Buffalo FireStix PC2-6400, all housed in a SilverStone TJ09.
vCore is 1.32, ddr voltage is 2.1, 1:1 fsb to dram ratio, 5-5-5-15 timings.
Temps are reported 28-30 from BIOS, and coretemp reads 2 cores usually 4-5 degrees higher, and the other 2 cores around the same as the BIOS (so like bios/everest would read 28 deg celcius, and coretemp would read 2 cores are around 29, and the other 2 cores are around 34). On running prime95, reading the temps after a few hours would get it around near high 40's to 50 degrees on all cores.
