.i just got a viewsonic a90f+ to replace my samtron 78DF. my new monitor supports up to 1792x1344, my last monitor's max resolution was 1280x1024. i am using a xtasy 9200 video card which says it supports up to 2048x1536. i installed the drivers for the new monitor.

when i try to change the resolution to anything higher than 1280x1024 (such as 1600x1200 or 1792x1344) instead of the monitor changing to that resolution it looks like it just zooms in on the center of the screen and the edges of the screen arent visible.

does anyone know what to do to make my monitor run at its advertised resolutions? its the computer in my sig. if you have any questions, ideas, or comments, please post. this is probebly a n00b question that is asked every month. but hey, im a noob and ive only been here for a month :D

Hey,

I had the same deal happen to me.

First I unistalled my video drivers and reinstalled. Went to Advanced Display settings---> Monitor Tab, Clicked on my monitor and set the max resolution and max refresh rates attributes.

Works fine now... Damn ATI drivers need to be told what to do lol..
