Hey guys. I've got my HTPC up and running finally and displaying on my LCD. Problem is, the image is filling up the entire screen. I've got the resolution set up to 1920x1080 and my tv is set to "Unscaled" (as opposed to forcing 4:3 or 16:9 etc). Am I missing a setting somewhere on the HTPC? I figure I must be because when I had a laptop hooked up briefly, it filled up the whole screen.

Here are the details:
ATI 4350 (HDMI output) (latest Catalyst drivers)
Philips 42' LCD (42PFL7422D)

I'm guessing its a setting within the ATI configuration menu. Hopefully somebody can help... Thanks!

yeah i have had issues with the ATI CCC. it is not nearly as nice to work with as Nvidias options.

I have noticed that with my TV or projector i dont gett the underscaling or overscaling options. I can resize my desktop and such when it is connected to a true monitor via VGA or DVI but the options are not there when i have a TV or PJ connected via HDMI.

Nvidia has a very simple resize desktop function...... i wish atis was simpler.

I have gotten it to work on my PJ by chaning the scaling setting on the PJ to make sure it is 1:1 pixel mapping and no scaling. then set the Desktop resoltion to 720p using display properties.

Yup. Make sure you've got 1:1 turned on. I've never had any problems with my HDTV regardless of ATI or NV simply cause I have this turned on. :)

Thanks guys. Underscan defaulted to about 10% or so. Set to 0 and TV set to unscaled and all is well. Thanks!
