Not getting 12V? Confused......

Becasue the software isn't working right......or the chip that reports voltage (called a Winbound chip in slang even though they aren't the only manufacturer) on your board is borked. Needless to say you wouldn't be seeing windows at 0v's on the 12v ;)
 
maybe it flatlined? ;)

lol actually on one xp mobo i was getting a weird ultra high # on the -12v. i just think its a random error. have u had a reading for hte 12v before?
 
No, just installed XP, and found this to my surprise...

So you guys are saying its nothing to worry about? Nothing will blow up or melt? lol

If you have a voltmeter, then you could use that to take a reading to check to see how it looks. It won't give you a real time reading, but it'll give you an idea of what your voltages look like.
 
I dont care what it is, along as it wont screw over my system....

Can i still see them in BIOS?

It must be the chip, It says 0 in bios. I set to ignore/disable for the meantime.
