I found this in the list of programs that don't work properly unnder SP2.

Norton AntiVirus
2003
Symantec 32-bit and 64-bit (NX)
http://www.symantec.com
At system startup, Scheduled Tasks in Norton AntiVirus 2003 does not automatically scan.

I have Norton Antivirus 2002. Is there anyway to find out if I'd experience these problems also?

Symantec has already began releasing patches, as I'm sure will all the other vendors whos apps were "broken" by SP2.

Where were you during the whole beta program Symantec? Helloooo?

They are busy with 2005, but 2004 still GOST them, so forgive, they are a bit busy.

Negative, no room in my heart for forgiveness... :D They should be continually supporting their recent previous products (2002, 2003, 2004) and to me its just typical Symantec style. I still have nightmare flashbacks to my support days at MS where Symantec had the record for KB articles for causing the most problems with Windows...

Does anybody know of a site that illustrates the cycles etc that Norton programs slurp up from your processor, running maybe in useless circles eating up your speed ???

   :D

I've tested XPSP2 with Norton 2003, works fine except the security center does not "see" that the AV is installed.
