Norton 2006 anti virus wont activate

Alright so im installing nrtn 2006, and everything is running well. However, when i get the option to activate the product or skip activation it freezes up. Now task manager says that it is responsive even though its frozen up. I have to manual shut down the program through task manager to get out of it also. Any ideas? thanks for an input.

First thing to do is remove Norton and get a real anti-virus program.

Seriously, Norton blows monkey chunks.

Seriously... get NOD32. You'll get a good deal from IceDigger.
