Norco Backplane upgrade??? (real?)

I take it these are fake or crap then.

Looked like an interesting concept, getting a fully functioning backplane...

I'm not so sure. Norco uses chinese ODM's to make all this stuff in the first place. I wouldn't be surprised if one of their ODM's designed this functionality and made it available on the side...
 
Even if these are real, they wont work on the 4020 or any of the older cases with non-multilane connectors. The older cases use backplanes that mount 90 degrees off compared to the new ones.
 
Ah cool. Well next time a backplane fails I'll consider one of these. They look to be about half the price from what Norco was quoting me anyways.
