So it was business as usual last night, stayed up late working on some projects. Wrapped up @ 2:40, closed down all my programs and then shut down the computer. No weird stuff, just the regular shut down via the start menu.

I try to boot up this morning, all I get is a momentary flash from the power/hdd LED's and my case lights (mini neons). I'm like WTF?!? So I try to swap cables, try a different power outlet, etc. Same result. I haven't tested the PSU yet, but I'm guessing it is the culprit.

Systems Specs
Shuttle XPC SN85G4
512 MB Kingston value ram
80 GB pata Seagate HD
Athlon 64 3000 (socket 745)
NEC X8 DVD burner
Geforce 4ti 4200

Any idea what may have caused this prob and how can I fix it?
 
I called Shuttle and was instructed to reset the bios. If that does not work, then to disassemble the system to bare essentials.

I tested PSU at work, and I didn't get the rig to post, but it did not behave the same way my PC did. Will try to swap PSU's with my other shuttle rig.
 
try disconnecting the power supply from the wall and computer and leave it un hooked for several hours then try it again. Sometimes powersupply caps get overcharged and need a leak down period.
